Q: I am married and my husband almost never comes to the pool. Can I be granted a head of household membership instead of a family membership?
A: No, we cannot make exceptions to our membership guidelines. The head of household membership is designed exclusively to accomodate single, divorced or widowed parents with dependent children.
Q: I currently live with my girlfriend and her daughter. Can we join as a family?
A: Our family membership applies ONLY to married couples that have children and there are no exceptions to this rule. Your girlfriend is welcome to join as a Head of Household with her children and you are welcome to join as a single member.
Q: I am married, but I would like to get a single membership. Is this OK?
A: Yes. The single membership applies to anyone over our minimum age requirement.
Q: I am filling out my membership. Do I really need to provide references?
A: Yes, filling out references helps the board process and accept your membership application much quicker.
